英検2級ライティング【完全対策】

英検

英検2級のライティングは、難しく感じるでしょう。
しかし、しっかり対策すれば、点数を稼げるおいしい問題です。

私は、準1級でライティング満点を取りました。

では、何か特別なことをやったかと言えば、そんなことはありません。

今回解説する対策を忠実に実行しただけです。

2021年度の問題を確認してみる

まずは、「英検2級　2021年度第3回」問題文と模範解答を見てみましょう。

問題文の確認

Today in Japan, many building and public areas have a lot of lights for decoration, such as the lights used during Christmas. Do you think this a good idea?

POINTS
●Safety
●The environment
●Tourism

これが問題文です。
また、和訳は次の通りです。
ただし、ライティング攻略に、訳は全く関係ありません。
訳ではなく、英語の構造で考えましょう。

「今日、日本では多くの建物や公共エリアは、クリスマスの期間に使われるライトのように、多くの装飾するためのライトで飾られています。」

ポイント
・安全性
・環境
・旅行

つまり、日本語訳はどうでもいいです。

模範解答の確認

次に模範解答です。

I think it is a good idea that buildings and public areas have lights for decoration.
First of all, these lights are a good way to increase the number of tourists.
If many people come to see the decorations, they may buy souvenirs from shop and eat at the restaurants in the area.
Second, bright lights will help prevent crimes at nighttime.
In a bright area, it is easy to see people’s faces and other things clearly.
For these reasons, I think it is good for buildings and public areas to have lights for decoration.

訳がこちら。

「私は、建物や公共エリアが装飾のためにライトで飾るのは良いアイデアだと思います。
第1に、これらのライトは、旅行客の数を増やす良い方法だからです。
もし、多くの人が装飾を見に訪れたならば、彼らは、そのエリアのお店で多くのお土産を買ったり、レストランで食事を取ったりするでしょう。
第2に、明るいライトは、夜間の犯罪を防止できます。
明るいエリアでは、人々の顔や他の事を明確にすることが出来るからです。
このような理由から、私は、建物や公共エリアが装飾のためにライトで飾るのは良いアイデアだと思います。」

こちらの訳もどうでも良いです。

解答文は、賛成文を書くと決めておく

まず、模範解答から分かることは、問題文に対して、「賛成している文」を書いているということです。
試験当日に、「賛成」か「反対」かを考えるのは、試験時間の無駄使いなので、受験前から「賛成文しか書かない」「反対文しか書かない」と決めておくといいです。

ちなみに、賛成文の方が書きやすいからオススメです。

ポイント（POINT）は、そのまま使わなくて良い

ポイント（POINT）は、「2つ」使わないといけません。
今回の模範解答では、SafetyとTourismを選んでいます。

しかし、そのまま使っていません。
つまり、POINTSをそのまま使う必要はありません。

POINTS
●Safety→bright lights will help prevent crimes at nighttime.（「ライトが明るいと安全」の文に変わっている）→つまり、Safetyという単語は使っていない。→「安全性に関する単語で良いか〜」ぐらいでいい。
~~●The environment~~
●Tourism→tourists

POINT1のSafetyは、bright lights will help prevent crimes at nighttime「夜は、ライトが明るいと、犯罪防止になる」→つまり、「明るいと安全」に変わっています。

Tourism「旅行」は、tourists「旅行客」に置き換えられています。

模範解答では、太字の部分がPOINTの言い換えになります。

導入と結論はパクりで良い

ここからが大事です。

問題文

まず、下線を引いた文を見て下さい。
問題文では、Do you think this a good idea?と聞かれているので、youをIに変えて、I think it is a good〜にしています。

太字の部分は、問題文と解答文が全く同じです。
つまり、丸パクリです。

このテクニックを使えば、始めと終わりの文は、思考停止して、2分ぐらいで完成します。

どんな問題が来ても、次の順番で書くようにして下さい。

First of all,（第1に）→自分が選んだPOINTの1つ目の理由を書く。
Second,（第2に）→自分が選んだPOINTの2つ目の理由を書く。
For these reasons, I think it is good…（結論→導入の使い回し）

すでに約25字稼いでいる

英検2級ライティングの語数は80~100字と定められています。
いままで、約25字稼いでいます。
つまり、何も考えず書くだけで、25字（4分の1以上）が完成しています。

単語は、優しい単語に置き換える

多くの人は、過去問題を見て対策しますが、模範解答は完璧、100点です。
ですから、これをマネするのは、もはや無理ゲー。
マネしなくても、私は満点取りましたから（笑）

模範解答を見て、単語が難しい場合は、自分が知っている単語に置き換えてみましょう。

In a bright area (→parkとかで良い), it is easy to see people’s faces and other things（→buildingとかでも良い） clearly.
